There is hereby adopted and incorporated herein by reference, as if completely and
specifically set forth in its entirety, for the purpose of prescribing regulations
for the design, construction, alteration, installation, repair, addition, extension
and demolition of all buildings and structures and their service equipment, the International
Building Code, 2003 Edition, as published by the International Code Council Inc.,
and the International Residential Code for One- and Two-Family Dwellings 2003 Edition,
as published by the International Code Council Inc., and the whole thereof, save and
except such portions as are hereinafter deleted, modified or amended. The IBC Building
Code together with the IRC One- and Two-Family Dwelling Code adopted herein shall
be known as the Falmouth Building Code. The town clerk shall keep on file in the clerk's
office three (3) copies of the Falmouth Building Code available for public use, inspection
and examination.
