Ice which is to be used for any food purpose or in connection with the chilling and
serving of salads, vegetables or cocktails shall be manufactured from a water supply
meeting the requirements in section 8-165, and shall be stored and handled in a sanitary manner. Ice grinders, pans, buckets
and scoops used in the preparation and dispensing of chipped or cracked ice shall
be protected from contamination. All block ice shall be washed before preparation
and serving. Ice shall be dispensed by the use of a scoop, spoon, or other approved
method.
