§ 2-371. Fire chief

There is hereby established the position of fire chief who shall be the head of the fire department. The fire chief shall be appointed by the town manager, and in addition to assuming responsibility for the duties described in section 2-370, shall assume such other responsibilities as may be required by the town manager or town council or as may be imposed by law.
