§ 2-301. Same—Health officer

Pursuant to article III, section 305 of the town Charter there is hereby established the position of health officer who shall be the head of the division of health. The health officer shall be appointed by the town manager subject to approval of the town council. In addition to assuming responsibility for the duties described in section 2-300, he shall assume such other responsibilities as may be required by the town manager or town council or as may be imposed by law.
