§ 2-297. Same—Town clerk

  • Pursuant to article II, section 214 of the Charter, there is hereby established the position of town clerk who shall be the head of the division of records and licensing. The town clerk shall be appointed by the town manager, and in addition to assuming responsibility for the duties described in section 2-296, shall assume such other responsibilities as may be required by the town manager or town council or as may be imposed by law.
