§ 701. Planning Board

There shall be a Town Planning Board which shall be appointed, have such powers and perform such duties as are provided by the laws of the State of Maine and the ordinances duly adopted by the Council. Members of the Planning Board shall be eligible for three consecutive three-year terms, except as otherwise provided by the laws of the State of Maine. For the purposes of this section, an appointment as an alternate member or an appointment to an unexpired term of less than 18 months shall not be considered a term.
