§ 208. Meetings

The Town Council shall, at its first meeting or as soon thereafter as possible, establish by ordinance or resolution a regular place and time for holding its regular meetings, and shall meet regularly at least once a month. It shall also provide a method for calling special meetings and workshop meetings. Public notice shall be given for all meetings of the Town Council in accordance with state law. Meetings of the Town Council shall be open to the public in accordance with 1 M.R.S.A. Section 401 et seq. as amended and shall be recorded. Any communication with the Council as to the rezoning of land shall be open and available to the public.
